Initial Frame

I found this super cute and easy idea on pinterest with the tutorial here.  I decided yesterday was the day to give it a try.  I cut a letter out of cute scrapbook paper, sewed it onto card stock, and put it in a frame with some ribbon. 

This is the first one I made.  My zig-zag stitch was pretty long.

I decided to give it a second try only this time I shortened my stitch.  This one turned out much better.  I think I'm going to frame it and take it to school.     

What a great gift idea!
