Thanksgiving 2010

My Thanksgiving break was packed! It was nice to have a break from school that allowed me to do some other things. One thing I was able to do was go trapping with Justin. Because he had already set the traps, all my job entailed was waking up with him and checking to see if we caught anything.
Justin is resetting one of the traps.
He did catch a beaver out of a nearby pond!
Thursday we spent the day with Justin's family. I took my camera along, but failed to take any pictures. We had a yummy lunch of turkey and brisket and all the fix'ins. We spent the afternoon relaxing and playing pitch.

Friday and Saturday my Dad drove up and helped Justin some more on the basement. It's starting to look very nice. I'll have updated pictures soon.

Saturday evening we drove down to Pretty Prairie to spend the rest of the weekend with my family. We had another yummy Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. This time with turkey, ham, and all the fix'ins.

The table here was literally so full there was no room to set anything else.

After lunch the men decided they needed a nap and all crashed in the living room.
The ladies headed downstairs to play Dutch Blitz.
We then decided we needed to brush up on our Ping-Pong skills. I'm proud to announce that Melissa and I whooped our mothers not once, but twice!:) (Next time we're taking on Chad and Cassondra!!)
It was wonderful to be home again and like always, never long enough!
