The Specialist

I want to thank you all for your prayers yesterday as we went to see the specialist in Wichita. They were definitely felt and much appreciated!

We learned a lot yesterday and were given an abundance of information. Dr. Tatpati was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us more than we expected from just looking at some of my previous blood work. She told us that she wanted to see for herself so she personally did an ultrasound there in the office.

In the past we had been told that Justin didn't need to be checked out since we were getting pregnant. Dr. Tatpati did want Justin checked and he will be completing some blood work with me. She also spotted several things in the ultrasound that I had never been told before, but all of those things, she said, should not be playing a part in the miscarriages.

The plan as of right now is to complete the blood work and I will begin taking progesterone. Dr. Tatpati is waiting to get the results back from the blood work to decide what we will do next. All in all we had an encouraging day. She seemed very confident and that went a long ways in giving Justin and I hope again.
