Update:

Justin and I made another trip to Wichita today to see Dr. Tatpati. We were once again impressed with her knowledge. She told us that all of the testing we had done a couple months ago all came back normal with the exception of one which was borderline. To tell you the truth I didn't understand everything she was saying expect that there is reason for her to suspect that my ovaries are aging faster than I am. However, the test results were right on the border of normal so she would like me to retest in about 4 months. We are praying that the next test will come back normal and her suspicions will be wrong.
There were 4 clotting tests that she did not order for me to have done the first time that she said we will go ahead and do. She is expecting them to come back normal since everything else has, but she wanted to be sure.
Because everything has come back normal, she thinks that the only thing we can do at this point is continue on with fertility treatments. The extent of those treatments are up to Justin and I. She told us I could take clomid (a fertility drug) and the progesterone one more time, but she wouldn't do anymore than that. Or we could move up a step and I would take the clomid as well as an additional fertility injection and the progesterone. At this point I really don't know what we're going to do.
Please continue to pray for us as we decide on the next step to take.

A Sad Revelation

This may come as a revelation to some of you, but for me it's a reminder as to why I do what I do each and every day.

I was talking with a little girl from my class and was asking her why she had been tardy that particular day. She told me, "Well, my alarm clock didn't go off and I didn't get mommy up, so we kept sleeping." I clarified, "You set an alarm clock and have to wake mommy when it goes off?" She nodded and said again, "Yeah, it didn't go off, so we just kept sleeping, and I didn't wake her up."

One little boy told me his mommy set out his clothes and cereal the night before. She woke him up, and then it was his responsibility to get dressed, eat, and get to the bus stop. We asked who poured his milk, and he matter of factly stated, "Oh I use water."

These are just two of the examples I hear out of the kids' mouths on a daily basis. For some of them, my aide and I will be the only thing that is constant in their little lives. It breaks this teacher's heart and makes me very thankful that I have the love of Jesus to pour out on them each and every day. If only my house were big enough to bring them all home!

There are so many hurting families out there that need to hear about Jesus and the RELATIONSHIP that is to be had with Him! It makes me think about how many times I've been consumed with my own problems and hurts, when I should have been looking outside of myself to the problems and hurts of others.

South Dakota

The company Justin works for sent us to Pierre, South Dakota this summer for the Varmint Hunters Jamboree. The jamboree is a shoot where men an women come from all over the country to compete. Justin sets up a booth and talks to the shooters and other vendors about Hodgdon's powder. I have gotten to accompany Justin the last 2 years and have really enjoyed it.

Encouragment

I listen to K-love radio whenever I get the chance. They have an encouraging word they read everyday and I've signed up to receive them on my e-mail. The other day the verse was from Hebrews and it spoke to my heart. I wanted to share and pass on the encouragement.

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affrim,

Peaches

Each summer I get a box of peaches from Colorado to put in the freezer and enjoy all winter. I never buy 10 lbs. of sugar, but we did this last time just to make sure that I'd have plenty.

Ready to be washed

The best of the bunch I saved to eat fresh.

After I washed the peaches I peeled, cored and sliced them. Then put a little (or a lot) of sugar over with some fruit fresh. Once the sugar had dissolved fill freezer containers and put in freezer. I was able to put 9 containers in the freezer.

I tired making a peach pie with the peaches from last year and it turned out very tasty!

Update from the Specialist

We have received all of my test results back from the lab and the nurse said that they were all within the normal range. One was a little on the low side of normal and I will be redoing that one in 6 months.

Justin had two tests done. One of them came back normal and the other one takes about 5 weeks to get back. After those five weeks we will make another appointment with the doctor and see what she has to say.
